John r. - Owner & general manager
John is the Owner and General Manager of Green Light Lawn Care, where he has built the company from the ground up through years of dedication, leadership, and hands-on experience. He holds Associate degrees in Business Management and Marketing and has completed additional landscape-related educational courses that support his broad understanding of the industry and business operations. John is known for his creative and humorous personality, as well as his positive leadership style that encourages others to become better than they were yesterday. He is passionate about providing quality service with efficiency while continuing to help the company grow and improve. Outside of work, John enjoys volunteering with the Vietnam Veterans group American Huey 369, flying helicopters as a skilled pilot, working with his hands mechanically, and spending time with his children.
Bethany R. - Office Manager
Bethany serves as Green Light Lawn Care’s Office Manager and supports the company’s accounting department, bringing a diverse educational background and strong organizational skills to the team. She holds Associate degrees in Psychology and Accounting, along with certifications in payroll and bookkeeping, and has also completed various landscaping-related courses and certifications, including Backflow Certification and a Category 5 Aquatic License. Bethany is known for her passionate and determined approach to her work, enjoying problem solving, teamwork, and taking on difficult tasks that challenge her to grow and succeed independently. She values efficiency, accuracy, and helping support the daily operations that keep the company running smoothly. Outside of work, she enjoys creating with her hands through painting, crafting, building, renovating, and crocheting, as well as running and spending time with her children.
Kevin r. - hardscape account manager
Kevin Rumsey is an experienced landscape design professional, project manager, and customer representative with a decade of service at Green Light Lawn Care, Inc. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Horticulture and Design (’08) from Purdue University and has been immersed in the green industry since the age of 13, gaining hands-on experience ranging from residential lawn care to custom landscape design and seasonal services like snow removal. Kevin combines a strong work ethic with a passion for both the creative and physical aspects of his field, partnering closely with clients to deliver durable, functional, and visually appealing outdoor solutions. He specializes in creating “garden rooms” that enhance how clients use and enjoy their outdoor spaces, while also prioritizing low-maintenance, high-value designs that maximize long-term ease and property appeal.
Orion h. - irrigation account manager
Orion Harker is a skilled irrigation and turf care professional who has been part of the Green Light Lawn Care team since 2019, when he started as a general crew member shortly after graduating from Twin Lakes High School in 2018. Through years of hands-on experience and continued professional development, Orion has grown into Green Light’s Irrigation Account Manager, specializing in irrigation design and installation, tree care, and turf care services. He holds multiple industry certifications, including a Backflow Certification, and RT Certification, allowing him to provide knowledgeable, detail-oriented solutions for clients. Orion especially enjoys the opportunity to meet new people and build relationships through his work, bringing both professionalism and a personable approach to every project. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, golfing, boating, and playing the piano, and he shares life with his fiancée, Hailey.
